Jacob's 1st Carnival
These pics are from September 19th... We decided to take the boys to the county fair that we have. It is nothing special, but the kids had fun and I have to admit that I had fun too! It was Jacob's first time to ride carnival rides. I decided to buy the tickets as opposed to the armband so when the tickets were gone we could go home.
This is Jacob on his very first carnival ride.
Proud Mama!!
I know it has taken me a while to post up, it seems like everytime I went to post pics blogger was bein goofy and won't let me post them. So today is catch up day (:
This is from the Wednesday before last. Jacob recently started Awanas and is a Cubbie at our church and is loving it! He learned his memeory verse for the week (Genesis 1:1 God created all things...) and got his Jumper patch. The look on his face was priceless! I am so proud of him. We missed last week b/c of crazy schedules and all so this week will be better. Oh, I am also a teacher in the 2 yr old class called Puggles and I love it!

Happy Scrappin'
I have been meaning to get my scrapbooking stuff organized for a while now. Everything was thrown into a laundry basket and was doing me no good. So yesterday I got out the new scrapbooking tote my MIL got me for my birthday and decided to put everything in it. I am extremly excited because I found a lot of scrapboking ideas in magazines that I would like to try. Plus, I have over 500 pictures that need to be scrapbooked! Eeeek! I hope that I have tons of things to post up for you in the near future.
Here is my new scrapbook tote and my paper organizer
Wanna play with my dough?
I know I am a little behind on posting these pics so bear with me... this was from Tuesday. I thought it would be a good idea to let the kids play with some playdough at the kitchen table. WRONG! It ended up everywhere from bottom of the shoes to in Tyler's mouth. I have to say that I have learned my lesson the hard way.
Tyler decided to it into tiny, edible peices.
And for some reason they are facinated with my laundry basket!?

Living Room Makeover
Yesterday I decided it was a good day to rearrange my living room. I wasnt sure if I was going to be able to move everything, but I did. I cannot find a pic of my living room before and I forgot to take one so... for you to get an idea of what it looked like before: the couch was against the wall where the chair is, the TV was acroos the room directly in front of the couch and the chair was where the TV is now. And I want to apologize in advance for the huge mess! I'm still workin on it (:

I can see....
Finally! After 2 years of needing new glasses I finally decided to spend the money and get a new pair. It was a hard to pick a pair by myself. I don't know what I would have done without the iPhone and email, which is how my husband helped me pick out a new pair from an hour away.
Here are the glasses that I decided to go with. They are Candie's and they are super cute and I figured if I have to wear them that they might as well be fun to wear.
Here is the pic I sent my husband. I know it's not the greatest and they look way better now that they are fitted to me, but it gives you a general idea.
Now I have to clean my house because I have let it get waaaaaay out of hand! I will be back on later to post up a few new things (:

NEW and FUN things to come....
Life has been crazy lately and every part of our lives have suffered in some way. Michael and I have been talking about putting everyone of us on a schedule and actually sticking to it. That would mean no more 1 am bedtimes and late mornings. I am actually kind of excited becuase during the weeks we have Mother's Day Out on mondays and fridays, Awanas (Jacob is in it and I am starting to teach next week ), My school which has to be done every night, invoicing for the business and for the next 6 weeks we will have bible study on Sunday nights. So I am having to re-adjust our lives to fit our busy schedules and think of meals that I can put on in the morning and will be ready when we all finally have a chancec to sit down and eat.
So the past few days I have been thinking (as well as reading Katie's blogs.. I just love her blogs) and I want to start doing some fun activities with my kids during the day. I am not sure how well all this will go over or how interested they will be... but I will never know until I try. I have printed out a calander that has some suggestions for daily learning activities from preschool express. I am also going to work with Jacob on writting his name! And now that the weather is getting cooler we can actually do picnics for lunch and enjoy them or go to the park and not be miserable. If you have any fun ideas I would love to hear them!!
I will also be working with Jacob on responsibility. I got him a chore chart so we will be learning how to make his bed, pick up his toys and put his clothes in the hamper. We will also work on picking out clothes in the mornings. I am also in the process of setting up my spare bedroom as my office and scrapbooking room! I am so excited about getting back into scrapbooking. I have so much stuff that has just been sitting for the past year or so and there are so many pictures I want to scrapbook. My mother in law gave me a wonderful scrapbooking tote for my birthday so that will help a lot. I will post up occasionally what I am working on and I may participate in Scrapbook Sunday. I don't know if I will be that disciplined yet or not!?!
I will be doing some decorating/re-decorating and such around the house. I am so excited that fall and winter are just around the corner so I am going to be getting up my decorations for that and I will be posting up my progress. I am really thinking I need to paint my office/scrapbooking room and make it enjoyable to be in and get all of the boys things out of it. I really want to get the boys new bedding, finish the kitchen and there are just so many things. I just have to pace myself and remember that I need to do them one at a time.
Lastly... I have been in the kitchen a lot lately and will be posting up a few recipes that I am super excited about making! With the colder months comming up there are several crock pot meals and such I can't wait to make along with soups, stews and chili's!
I can't wait to share with you guys!!
