Only 12 More Years to Go

Today was Jacob’s last day of preschool!

I can’t believe that my baby will be in kindergarten next year.

Just thinking about it makes me want to cry.

I can remember dropping him off for his first day of school.

it doesn’t seem like that long ago…

And here is my baby after graduation.

Look how much he has grown!

Back to the Desert

Today was our last day in Oklahoma.

I hate that we had to leave. The kids loved being able to play with their cousins and I loved being able to spend time with Becca, she’s like the sister I never had.

And it was great to get away and spend time with family that we don’t get to see often enough.

Here is a look at our day through the lens of my camera…

Summer Fun in the Sun

Today was a fun relaxing day.

We went and bought the kids a pool so they would have something to do at the house.

And Becca and I went to Old Navy for the 50% off of 50% off sale! It was awesome. I got some really good clothes that I can’t wait to wear!

Here are a few pics of the kiddos in the pool…

Birthday and a Baby

First thing I did this morning was take this precious little girl straight from Becca! Look at her is she not absolutely ADORABLE? I have a feeling that I won’t be putting her down the entire weekend.

Today was also my dear sweet Michael’s 27th birthday. I was so caught up with everything that I forgot to take a picture of what he got. Me and the boys got him a pair of Cinch jeans and some Oakley’s that he has been wanting.

Happy Birthday babe!
We Love You!

After breakfast this morning Tyler decided he was going to take it upon himself to get the water hose out and start playing.

And we smoked a whole hog for dinner! Again, I forgot to take the after pictures, but I can tell you that it was DELICIOUS!

A Quick Stop…

Today we left for a long weekend on Oklahoma with Michael’s family. It is about an 8 hour drive that we usually make in the middle of the night, but not this time! We left this morning so I was able to see all the beautiful things that I always miss. And one of those beautiful things happened to be an antique thrift store in some tiny town along the way.

Here are a few of my favorite things from the store…

What I’m Loving Wednesday

Today I was reading my BBFF Lyryn’s blog and she was doing What I’m Loving Wednesday.

So today I am going to be a copycat and do it as well.

It’s actually perfect because I am uber busy getting things done before our small family getaway.

So I’m linking up with Jamie at This Kind of Love

For What I’m loving Wednesday

♥ I’m loving my garden! I can’t wait to pick my first ripe tomato. The excitement is killing me. Okay well not really killing me, but for some reason I am being super impatient this year.

♥ I’m loving that school is out next week. I am excited to spend this summer with Jacob before he enters kindergarten. I am so sad that he is growing up so fast. Sniffle Sniffle. I don’t know what I am going to do when he is not here all day with me.

♥ I’m loving my boys! Everyday is like a completely new adventure. I never know what they are going to do or say next.

♥ I’m loving that this weekend is Michael’s birthday. I love birthdays! Except mine… it just means I am getting older.

♥ I’m loving my Vaseline Aloe Fresh Moisturizing Gel Lotion. I love the way it smells and that it’s not sticky or greasy. I need a huge 20 gallon bucket of it!

♥ I’m loving that I have a husband that works his hands to he bone {literally, you should see his knuckles} so I am able to stay home and hang out with my precious boys.

And lastly,

♥ I’m loving that I get to see family that lives so far away. We haven't got to see each other since Thanksgiving and this year there is even a new baby!
