When You Least Expect It

I started blogging a couple of years ago and have only met a few people that I really talked to through e-mail and what not. But as time passed and life got busier, the e-mails got further apart and somehow we lost touch. And as a person that really has no friends here in my world, it is nice to have the few I have out there in the bloggy world. To be honest, the ones out there in blogland know more about me than the ones I have in my world. I guess that’s in part because it’s easier to talk to people when typing. You can’t see if they are judging you.

When you least expect it God puts people in your life in the most unexpected way. I started reading Lyryn’s blog Breaking Through because of a post Trina posted. In her blog over the last month she has talked about how her and her husband overcame his affair. And as one who has been in those shoes, it was really inspiring to read. The last year has been tough for me, my husband and my kids. She helped me understand how to understand my husband’s feelings and now I know how to handle them better. And we are doing a lot better now that I can empathize with him and now that I know he is not lashing out at me to be hateful.

Lyryn has been wonderful. She is the best at responding to e-mails and has became one of my favorite people to talk to. I feel God put her in my life at just the right time.

So firstly, I want to thank Trina for posting about her blog series, Our Redeeming Love. I would never have known if it weren’t for you.

And I want to say thank you to Lyryn for being an amazing inspiration, reassuring me that my marriage is worth fighting for, and being a friend when I needed it the most. Your awesome!

Your marriage is definitely worth fighting for. So glad you and Michael are doing just that!
